Joueurs Flous
by Federico Tabanelli
Joueurs Flous is a night journey through the raw edges of the suburban landscape. It traces an invisible map made of ghostly subjects, off-limits infrastructures, and hidden detours to trespass them. In constant motion, the characters repeat the same routes in a loop—like a mantra: enter, paint, exit. Time seems to suspend as the events unfold in a rising climax.
What lingers in the images is the action itself—not the paint that remains on the walls, but everything happening around it. Joueurs Flous focuses on what comes before and after the tags: the intricate planning and the inevitable consequences of these actions.
By blurring the subjects into unrecognisable figures, Joueurs Flous’s antiheroes could belong to any writing crew, from the outskirts of Ravenna to Paris or Naples. The blur captures the rush of the moment and the gestures in motion, turning low light and ever-present adversity into a visual language.
