After my studies in photography I co-founded the photo collective Cesura and the publishing house Cesura Publish that explores different approaches to documentary photography. My work delves into the ever changing meaning and shape of “boundaries”, natural, urban or cultural. In several of my long term projects my aim has been to walk along one of these boundaries by developing collaborative processes. I have questioned myself on how – and if – my photography could have an impact on the people and stories I follow, constantly reflecting on and seeking new ways to engage and empower my subjects.
My work has been exhibited at the Triennale/Milano, LeBal Space/Parigi, MoCP/Chicago, Kulturhuset/Stockolm, Deichtorhallen/Amburgo, Noble Peace Center/Oslo.
