Valentina Neri (1991) is an Italian photographer. After attending Monza Art Institute, she studied at CFP Bauer’s school of photography in Milan. The same year, as a result of an internship, she began a steady collaboration with CESURA, and became an official member in 2020. In 2018, she published her first bookAlmanacco Toilet Club with CESURA PUBLISH, which received positive reviews in several photography media outlets and was shortlisted by the Arles Photo-Text Book Award in 2019 and in 2024 began the collaboration with the Genoa-based art gallery Guidi&Schoen.
Valentina is currently working on projects focused on her artistic research which is characterised by delicate tones and feminine atmospheres. The same flavour can be found in her latest work, Oh Be A Fine Girl, Kiss Me, in which she simultaneously explores the themes of the universe, matter and the illusory side of photography.
