Bunkers

by Andy Rocchelli

In the Dombass region, families stake both children and provisions in underground bunkers to survive the fights between governmental forces and pro-Russian military groups.
These are composite nuclei: orphans are being adopted once their parents fall in the numerous daily blasts and shootings so that families can easily reach huge dimensions. One parent refers to adopted children as “frozen souls”, whose confidence in mankind has been deluded by the war above ground.
