Ghana Days by Francesco Bellina

by Francesco Bellina

A 6-Day Full-Immersion in Accra, the Capital of Ghana.
This intensive workshop aims to refine the participants’ skills in reportage and documentary photography.
During this journey with photographer Francesco Bellina—who has been working for years on issues related to Central Africa—participants will seek to capture stories of local residents through a direct and personal approach.
Students will have the opportunity to explore themes of ethical and social photography, a fundamental aspect for those who wish to tell stories with respect for the cultures and people portrayed.

The workshop will be limited to a small group of six participants. This setup will allow for individual needs to be addressed and for tailored, in-depth feedback to be provided.
This opportunity is aimed at anyone who wishes to approach the world of reportage photography in distant regions and feels the urge to tell stories—and tell their own story—through carefully chosen narratives, while learning advanced techniques of visual storytelling and its various related aspects, such as planning, pre-departure research, and workflow management.
