Nicola Luciani was born in Pedavena (Italy) in 1999. While studying photography at IED in Milan, he worked as an assistant to Luca Santese. In 2025, he traveled to Ukraine to work on a documentary video project in the Donetsk Oblast, capturing the human side of the ongoing conflict. In 2024, he began a long-term project in Taiwan, focusing on daily life and the island’s geopolitical tensions. His work conveys a subtle sense of suspension, revealing the fragility of the present caught between past and future.
