Fine turno

by Arianna Arcara

Fine turno is a series of portraits of health workers at the end of their working day. Made in several hospitals in Northern Italy, between Lombardy and Emilia, it was carried out in the critical months of March and April 2020, in the middle of the Covid-19 emergency. A particular historical moment in which a pandemic, unexpected in its virulence, has shaken the lives of many people, including those who found themselves having to face it in hospitals in its most intense and exhausting phase between fatigue, awareness and dedication.
